Meet David Smeed

David graduated with an BComm honours degree from UCD in 1994 specialising in Banking & Finance.

Upon graduating, he worked for Goodbody Stockbrokers before moving to London to work for a boutique Hedge Fund, GNI Fund Management. There, David specialised in Currency & Risk Management for a number of European & Asian Equity Hedge Funds before moving to Exchange Financial as a
Risk Manager for their HNW clients focusing again on FX and Bespoke Investments.

David transferred to Singapore in 2004 and worked  as a strategist for Stork Capital before becoming the Fund Manager for their Asian Equity Program.

During his time in Asia, David became a regular contributor & speaker on Bloomberg TV.

David returned to Dublin in 2008 where he has been a proprietary investor prior to setting up Best Financial.

David is a Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and brings 15 years of International Financial Experience.
